FAQs

Why does The Squad use Squarespace?

We understand the importance of ensuring that your website feels like it belongs to you, which is why we use Squarespace as our platform of choice. With its easy-to-use editor and intuitive navigation, Squarespace provides a powerful tool for building and managing your website. Our ultimate aim is to ensure that you feel fully prepared and in control of your website, even without our assistance. While we'll always be here to provide support and guidance when you need it, we want you to feel confident in your ability to manage your site on your own. With The Squad, you can trust that your website will be a powerful asset for your church, now and in the future.

Why was my project split up into multiple projects?

Very occasionally, our project managers will need to split up your design request into multiple projects. We currently serve hundreds of churches and the design calendar is maintained with an almost magical science. If our project managers see that your project has many deliverables or multiple variations required, they may split it up into smaller projects. Our project managers will be upfront with you if they need to do that and will ask you if there is any part of the project that should be considered a priority.

Will transferring my website affect our search ranking?

Yes, it might, but it should be for the better! At TheSquad, we design websites with a strong focus on SEO. While rankings may slightly fluctuate initially post-switch, our primary goal is for you to witness an improvement in your Google rankings over time.

Will you design graphics with Disney characters?

As a matter of policy, we do not create designs of any copyrighted or trademarked characters. Churches and others who have used copyrighted characters in designs have faced lawsuits in the past. To keep your church (and ourselves) legally safe we will automatically decline to work on projects which ask for the inclusion of copyrighted materials.

Will you provide brand guidelines for our reference?

Absolutely! We utilize an online platform to create a comprehensive digital brand guide, granting you and your team administrative access for future reference. Please note that there is a small access fee for us to host this guide indefinitely. We also offer update services, should you need them.

What can you create for us?

There's so much that TheSquad can help with that it might actually be easier to tell you what's not included.Design: While our standard plans don't include logos, brand guides, custom illustrations, or maps, we provide the option to add custom illustrations for an extra fee. Additionally, our specialized Branding Squad is available to assist you with logos and brand guides. If you're interested in these services, please don't hesitate to contact our Sales Squad. Video: When it comes to video production, it’s important to note that voice-overs, complex multicam edits, and videos over 15 minutes in length are not included. However, if you’d like to include Long Form Video in your plan for an extra charge, please contact our Sales Squad.Additional Services: Ready to supercharge your communication, branding, or website needs? What are the Squad Goals?

Love the Little β€œc” Serving the Church is why we exist. We are a company built by church people FOR church people. We love our individual local churches by faithfully serving in them. As a company, we care for each local church that we serve, becoming a remote part of that church’s team. Nothing Hidden We say what we mean and mean what we say. We are truth-tellers, both to our clients and to each other. We never use asterisks to qualify what we say and when tough questions inevitably arise, we will work through them with respectful, yet direct, honesty. Constant Improvement We believe that success is measured against who we were yesterday. Each day we are looking for ways to better serve those around us, whether that is a client or a squad member. We Take our Art Seriously, Not Ourselves We are serious about what we create but never take ourselves too seriously. We strive to exceed expectations. We are passionate about being a creative leader for the Church by helping tell her stories through art. Efficiently Creative Every day we strive to not only be creative but be efficiently creative. We strive to provide relevant, quality content in a timely fashion. Our goal is to save time for ourselves and our clients, without sacrificing creativity. Everything Together Although the squad is located around the world we still find time to engage with one another beyond our work responsibilities. We support and pray for each other and encourage relationships on a personal level. Responsible Flexibility We recognize that work-life is a key component of what shapes our lives, but not the only component. We value the importance of creating a healthy and responsible balance between our professional and personal lives. We value the role that boundaries play in maintaining full lives that honor Christ, in order to remain healthy professionally, personally, spiritually, and physically.

Am I able to submit additional deliverables midway through a project?

Yes...well, usually! In most cases, we can tack on additional deliverable sizes midway through ongoing projects. Our designers and/or project managers will be upfront with you on any delays should that be the case.

Are annual payment options available?

Yes, they are! In most cases, we open up annual pricing to our members after they've been with the Squad for three months or more. Can you help us implement our new branding across our organization?

Certainly! We strive to make your new brand investment as effective as possible as soon as it's ready. We will assist you in strategizing, developing ideas, and exploring various ways to implement your brand, from the design stage to launch events.
