FAQs

Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?

Glad you asked! To put things into perspective, the annual salary for an experienced designer currently exceeds £75k in the UK and $100k in the US, including benefits (and good luck finding one available).
Additionally, there may not be a steady stream of assignments for them, resulting in idle periods that you're still footing the bill for.

Using the monthly subscription, you have the flexibility to pause and resume your plan based on your needs, ensuring you're only compensating the designer when there's actual work on the table.

How long does it take to receive my designs?

Typically, the majority of requests are completed within 2-3 days or even sooner. Nonetheless, intricate requests might necessitate a longer duration or be segmented into more smaller requests.

Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?

That’s the point. After subscribing, you can populate your queue with numerous design requests, and they will be addressed one by one. But, choosing the Double Flip plan allows you the advantage of getting two requests handled at the same time.

How do I request designs?

When starting your first project,  you’ll receive a short form to complete and give us an idea about the work. We’ll set it up as project in Teamwork.com and there you can add as many design tasks as you need. We can also help you to break it down to tasks if it’s a big one.
That project is where you’ll be able to request designs in the future as well. Just create a task, we’ll get notified and we’ll start working on it as soon as possible.
Some other common ways you can request designs are sharing Google docs, wireframes or even recording a brief Loom video.
In general, If it can be linked or shared in Teamwork.com, it’s fine.

What if I don’t like the design?

No problem at all! Just send your feedback (ideally as comments in the Figma file) and we’ll continue working on it until you’re at least 100% happy with it.

How does pausing subscription work?

We recognize that there might be times when you don't have a month's worth of design tasks. Maybe you only have a couple of design needs right now. This is where the pause functionality becomes beneficial. Our billing cycles operate on a 31-day timeframe. For instance, if you register and utilize the service for 21 days and then choose to pause, the billing cycle will be halted. This leaves you with 10 days of unused service that can be activated whenever you need in the future.

Will I lose my spot, by pausing my subscription?

Your spot can remain paused for up to 1 month. After that, it will be opened for new clients. However, if you want to continue and there are no free spots at that time, you can still use your remaining days.

Is there any design work you don't cover?

Absolutely! We believe, that by trying to serve everybody, you don’t really serve anybody well enough, so we want to focus only on what we’re great at and passionate about. (See our services list)
With that said we do not cover the following design work: 3D modelling, animated graphics (GIFS, etc.), slide decks, infographics, brochures, billboards, resumes, business cards, packaging, document design (medical forms, etc.), and extensive print design (magazines, books, etc.). However, we believe on collaboration and connections, so if you need something that is out of the scope of our services, feel free to request it and we’ll do our best to connect you with a partner designer, that we know and hope they’ll be a good fit for the request.

What programs do you design in?

Most requests are handled using Figma. However if some more complex image editing is needed the good old Photoshop is also here the help.
